Happy New Year!!!
Making New Year's resolutions are many people's tradition. Most people have resolutions like exercising more, eating more healthily, saving more money, getting more sleep, etc. That's why the gym is typically packed in January. While I'm always working on those things, I'm going to start a new tradition -- I'm going to make Crochet Resolutions!
It's basically a list of things that I want to accomplish that's crochet-related!
I probably spend more time pinning projects on Pinterest than I do actually making them. The sad part is that I don't really crochet as fast as I think I do. I likely have more pinned projects than I would ever be able to make in this lifetime!
So let's break it down and only list a couple of things I want to try to learn and accomplish this year.
1. Learn C2C Crochet
People are making some really neat projects using corner-to-corner crochet techniques. I've watched videos of this technique but I don't think I will 100% understand it until I've tried it firsthand. Sarah from Repeat Crafter Me has a bunch of different projects that she has made using C2C crochet and it's so inspiring. The possibilities are truly endless!

2. Design an Amigurumi Base Doll
I learn a lot from working on other designers' patterns. I've actually been working off a few different amigurumi dolls by different designers to learn new techniques. I hope to be able to adapt some of their techniques and create my own amigurumi doll base one day.

3. Crochet a Cardigan
A few years ago, I started making the Cascade Cardigan designed by All About Ami. While I wasn't new to crochet, it was my very first time making a wearable. Shortly after I finished the back panel of the cardigan, I just gave up. The project felt like it was neverending and I wasn't even sure if I was doing the stitches right. One day, I think I'll just frog the whole thing and start from scratch!

4. Crochet a Christmas Wreath
I've been saying that I want to create a crocheted Christmas Wreath for a few years in a row now, but that still has not happened. This year... This will be my year!!
