I loved Halloween as a kid! Like, what kid doesn't? Walking around the neighborhood in the evening all dressed up, walking door-to-door collecting candy that will last me for the next year.
When I got a little older, maybe 10 or 11 years old, I found myself much more self-conscious and didn't enjoy dressing up for Halloween as much. Halloween also became a lot more "sexy" and I didn't really vibe with that.
All the Halloween decor that they sell in the store is also a bit too creepy for me. So, I just stopped participating in Halloween activities altogether.
However, now that I have my own kids, I am starting to embrace my inner child again and enjoy the fun and cute costumes. I even made BB a Wilderness Explorer costume for her first Halloween! Nowadays, my girls enjoy dressing in pretty princess dresses with magical wands.

Halloween Wreath by Highland Hickory Designs
Now we've all seen Christmas Wreaths, but we can have wreaths for all occasions, Halloween included! I bought a pool noodle a couple years ago to make a wreath, but never got to it. Instead, I used it for something else that came out just as cute.
One day though, I'll crochet a wreath one day.
Tunisian Fall Pumpkins by Knitter Knotter
I bought a set of Tunisian crochet hooks a few years ago now. I've picked it up a few times but haven't been able to find the right project to learn how to use them. I think I might have found my first Tunisian crochet project with these Tunisian fall pumpkins!
If you're looking for more crochet pumpkin ideas, I have a roundup post of some of the most unique crochet pumpkins on the internet!
Spider Granny Square by Thoresby Cottage
While I am not a fan of spiders, I can't resist how cute this spider granny square is! Make them in a whole bunch of different colors and you got yourself a Halloween blanket!
Bat Granny Square by Thoresby Cottage
We recently read this Magic School Bus book about bats for a bedtime story and learned so much! They are such misunderstood animals. I remember learning that bats are good animals to have around.
They help get rid of the one thing I hate the most, mosquitoes! Some people even have bat boxes built for them so they have a place to sleep and to keep them nearby!
Furry Amigurumi Black Cat by Once Upon a Cheerio
I made this adorable black cat amigurumi plush for my daughters a few years ago using Lion Brand's Faux Fur yarn. This cat was inspired by Jiji, the cat from Ghibli Studio's Kiki's Delivery Service.
My amigurumi Jiji is still Mui Mui's favorite stuffed toy that she carries around everywhere. While that stuffy has seen better days, it really does warm my heart to see how much she loves him.
You Don't Know Jack Slouchy Beanie by Spider Mambo
OK, the photo here doesn't do this pattern justice, but this has got to be one of my favorite Halloween-themed crochet patterns ever. I've made this Jack Skellington beanie more than once and I love wearing it around.
It makes me look kind of badass if you know what I mean. If you're a fan of Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas, you'll love this pattern!

Halloween Candy Bags by Sigoni Macaroni
This is such a cute project to make for the kiddies. While it's kind of small for them to collect their candy in when they go trick or treating door-to-door, they definitely make for cute loot bags for giving out to your guests after your Halloween party!
Poisoned Apple Applique by Golden Lucy Crafts
This little poison apple applique is giving me all the Snow White vibes!
Haunted House Blanket by Lovable Loops
If you're starting on this crochet blanket this year, you probably might not finish in time for Halloween. But it's always good to at least start it so you can complete it for next year. While I love crochet blankets, they are definitely time-consuming to make and require dedication to finish them.
