Hey everyone! I finally did it—I filmed my second vlog! It was a bit of an adventure (hello, bad lighting, and multiple refilms), but I’m excited to share more about my crochet projects and behind-the-scenes moments with you all.

The Speak Now Taylor Swift Amigurumi Doll

One of the projects I showcased in this vlog is my Speak Now-era Taylor Swift amigurumi doll! It's also known as the Wonderstruck Princess doll. This little crochet creation was inspired by my daughter, who fell in love with Taylor’s stunning purple ombre dress from the Eras Tour concert movie.

This is actually the second Wonderstruck doll I'm making -- I gifted the first one to my cousin, who is also a huge Swiftie. I promised my daughter a Taylor Swift amigurumi doll and I've taken way too long to deliver this one. Good news for you, if you’d like to make your own, the pattern is already available on my blog!

Friendship Bracelets & the Eras Tour

Speaking of Taylor Swift, my friend Laura (@thecozychipmunk) attended the Eras Tour in Toronto late last year and brought me back a friendship bracelet. It made my Swiftie heart so happy! I really wish I could have gone myself, but maybe one day. Until then, I’ll just keep crocheting Taylor-inspired projects!

I Need to Calm Down Amigurumi Doll

Another special project I shared is my You Need to Calm Down-inspired Taylor Swift amigurumi. This one features Taylor lounging in a yellow inflatable swim tube in her pink bikini, just like in the music video.

Designing this doll was a challenge because I wanted her to sit naturally in a relaxed pose, which meant experimenting with crocheting sculpting, and using wire for positioning. I was so excited about finishing her amigurumi doll, that I didn't get a chance to embellish her when I released the pattern.

So over the holidays, I added tiny rhinestone heart charms as earrings and self-adhesive rhinestones on her handpainted sunglasses (made with my xTool M1 laser cutter). I even counted the rhinestones on the sunglasses—exactly 13 of them, because, of course, Taylor’s favorite number!

I'm still a beginner to vlogging, but it's been a fun way to share my crochet journey and the creative process behind these projects. If you love Taylor Swift and amigurumi, be sure to check it out and let me know what you think in the comments!

And as always, happy crocheting! 💜
