If you're wondering what those little dots are that I used as sprinkles, those are actually sewing pins! That's right, I used my little crochet tooth as a pin cushion and added sewing pins as sprinkles to spruce her up! Isn't it cute?
Inspiration and Why I Made This
There’s a certain bittersweet charm to your child losing their first tooth. It’s a milestone that signals growing up. But I’ll be honest: the sight of a wiggling tooth always sends shivers down my spine!
When my youngest was gearing up to lose her first tooth last year, I found myself needing to look away from all the "Look how wiggly it is, Mom!" moments. That’s when I decided to crochet a mini amigurumi tooth to mark the occasion.

What started as a sweet keepsake quickly turned into a creative obsession. This initial crochet tooth amigurumi turned out so adorable that I couldn't stop there. I developed a fun variation: The Sweet Tooth crochet pattern, complete with frosting and a cherry on top.
If you're wondering about the "sprinkles," those are actually sewing pins because I started using amigurumi as a pin cushion (yes, it's that multifunctional!).

These beginner-friendly mini amigurumi patterns are fast, fun, and easy to make. They make the perfect gift for kids celebrating their first lost tooth, a cute desk companion for your favourite dental professional, or just a functional crochet pin cushion to add to your crochet collection.
